First Daughter Malia Obama Served As Production Assistant On Halle Berry’s ‘Extant’ (Report)

First Daughter Malia Obama is doing more this summer than just learning how to drive.

The teen spent a day as a production assistant on Halle Berry’s new CBS sci-fi drama, “Extant,” a source told The Wrap.

“She helped with computer shop alignments and the director also let her slate a take,” a source told the website.

“Extant,” which premieres July 9 on CBS, stars Halle as Molly Watts, an astronaut, who heads back to earth (pregnant) after 13-months alone in space.

The series also stars “ER” alum Goran Visnjic as Molly’s husband, John Woods, and “Person of Interest’s” Camryn Manheim as Dr. Sam Barton.

A rep for CBS was unavailable for comment about the Malia report when contacted by Access Hollywood on Monday.
