Former Bachelor Jake Pavelka Beams Over ‘Warm, Kind’ Kristin Chenoweth

Former “Bachelor” Jake Pavelka confirmed he is dating actress Kristin Chenoweth and he told Access Hollywood she is a real joy in so many ways.

“We’ve been seeing a little bit of each other and she is just one of the most incredibly warm, selfless, kind people I have ever met,” Jake told AccessHollywood.com during a visit to “The Bachelor” house last Friday night where ABC and Warner Bros. threw a soiree to celebrate 25 seasons of the reality dating franchise.

“She is truly what she seems to be,” he added.

The news of the reality star and actress’ coupling came as a surprise to some television fans late last year, and Jake explained to Access how they met.

“We met at the Hero Dog Awards for Hallmark Channel,” he explained.

Jake did not know much at all about Kristin’s celebrated career as an actress, Tony winner and singer, when they crossed paths.

“I’m just a normal guy,” he said. “She’s the one that has, you know, that’s her career as a vocalist.”

Kristin is known for her fabulous pipes, but Jake said she hasn’t gotten him into using his yet.

“I don’t sing. I do everybody a favor and I don’t sing,” he said.

Asked what his parents think of Kristin, Jake laughed and replied, “Ask them!”

Jake was on hand at Friday’s “Bachelor” event, and also present was current series star, Sean Lowe.

“I actually met Sean a couple of days ago in New York,” Jake told Access. “Great guy. I’m probably more like Sean than any of the other past ‘Bachelors.’”

Jake, who hails from Texas, just like Sean, said they have a lot in common.

“Just the way that we were raised, the businesses that we’re in, kind of the way we conduct ourselves. He’s just a great guy,” Jake said. “I got to know him this week a little bit. We really see eye to eye on a lot of things. A lot of major aspects of life, so I hope he finds love.”

“The Bachelor” airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
