Former ‘Girl Next Door’ Kendra Wilkinson To Pen Memoir

Kendra Wilkinson wants to be known as more than just a pretty Playboy-posing reality star – the pregnant former “Girls Next Door” star is writing a memoir.

“I feel like the luckiest girl in the world,” the reality starlet said in a statement release by her publisher, Simon Spotlight Entertainment. “I have a husband I adore, a baby on the way, and now my memoir is going to be published!”

Kendra, who tied the knot earlier this month with NFL star Hank Baskett at the Playboy Mansion, will explore a slew of fun topics in her upcoming book, including her childhood, life as a Playboy cover model, her time with Hugh Hefner and her rise to stardom on the reality show series “The Girls Next Door” and “Kendra.”

“The memoir will be a humorous, relatable, fish-out-of-water tale that captures the spirit of one of the most beloved Playboy cover models in history,” the release said.

“Kendra is so genuine and funny that her memoir is sure to be unique, refreshing, and a reflection of the woman so many people have fallen in love with,” said Jennifer Bergstrom, Vice President and Publisher of Simon Spotlight Entertainment.

Kendra’s currently untitled memoir is slated to hit the bookshelves in summer 2010.
