Former ‘Matrix’ Star Carrie-Ann Moss Headed To NBC’s ‘Chuck’

Carrie-Ann Moss is headed to the small screen, according to a new report.

The actress — most famous for her role as the butt-kicking Trinity in “The Matrix” movies — has signed on for a recurring role on NBC’s spy hit, “Chuck,” Michael Ausiello of TV Line reports.

The brunette beauty, 43, will play Gertrude Verbanski – a “former spy who now runs Verbanski Corp.,” according to Ausiello.

Additionally, Moss’ “ruthless and deadly” character will serve as a love interest for John Casey (played by Adam Baldwin).

The Canadian-born stunner will next be seen in “Silent Hill: Revelation 3D” – slated for theatrical release next year – alongside Sean Bean and “Game of Thrones” star Kit Harington.
