Friends & Family Gather For Farrah Fawcett Funeral In Los Angeles

Friends and family gathered on Tuesday afternoon in Los Angeles to say goodbye to former “Charlie’s Angels” actress Farrah Fawcett, who died last week at the age of 62 after a long battle with cancer.

Farrah’s longtime love, Ryan O’Neal, whom she had reportedly hoped to marry before her death, greeted guests of the service, held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, a Catholic church in Los Angeles, before it began.

Farrah’s dad, James Fawcett attended the ceremony as did Tatum O’Neal and Farrah’s son, Redmond O’Neal, who was let out of jail for the service.

Alana Stewart, Dick Van Patten, Kate Jackson and Cheryl Tiegs were among the guests at the funeral.

Farrah’s casket was adorned with orange and yellow roses, which was carried by Ryan and several of the actress’ loved ones.

A program for the funeral featured a beautiful picture of the actress in her prime on the front, while the back image showed Farrah as a girl. Her son Redmond reportedly read two Bible passages during the service.

Griffin O’Neal, Ryan’s son with actress Joanna Moore, appeared dressed in black outside the funeral, however, he told Access lawyers would not allow him entrance to the service.
