From Tweet To Tango: ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Pairs Share Their Excitement Over Season 12 On Twitter

“Dancing with the Stars” has unveiled the celebrity and professional match-ups for its twelfth season and already Twitter has been flooded with the various parties gushing over their newly formed teams.

“MAKS you are my BOO….G loves you BOO,” Kirstie Alley Tweeted to her ballroom babe – Maksim Chmerkvoskiy.

“Hahahaha! Love you too G! This is going to be fun,” Maks added, although a short while later he hinted he was already starting to realize Kirstie may be a handful.

“Hey @kirstiealley focus on our team name! (already afraid of her ideas…LOL),” Maks Tweeted.

Another Twitter love-fest occurred between wrestler Chris Jericho and his partner, two-time “DWTS” champ Cheryl Burke.

“So excited to be partnered up with @iamjericho! Let’s go team chericho! What do u guys think of our team name?” she Tweeted.

“So stoked to have @CherylBurke as my partner!! She rules! The time has come for both of us to become champions once again… #goTeamChericho,” Chris chimed in.

Kendra Wilkinson revealed she and Louis van Amstel have already been working on their choreography, when she Tweeted.

“SO excited for you guys to see our moves!!” the Playboy Playmate-turned-mom wrote.

But it seems Louis, who previously cut a ballroom rug with Margaret Cho and Kelly Osbourne, amongst others, isn’t as familiar with his new partner.

“it makes me very happy to read all ur tweets.I didn’t know much about @kendrawilkinson b I’m realizing she’s a good woman n represents GOOD,” he wrote.

Elsewhere, “Loveline” radio host Mike Catherwood admitted he was awed by his partner’s beauty.

“Bottom line is my partner @laceyschwimmer is hot,” he wrote.

As for Karina Smirnoff, she Tweeted that her demanding dance instruction was going to give partner Ralph Macchio a run for his money.

“Ok, time to get ready to go kick @ralphmacchio butt in rehearsal. Mr Miyagi ain’t got nothing on me! Lol,” she wrote.

Chelsea Kane also shared a Tweet for her partner – Mark Ballas, writing, “It takes TWO to TANGO,” while Petra Nemcova, who is dancing with Dmitry Chaplin, thanked her fans for their early support.

“Thank you everyone for the amazing support with #DWTS.OMG…My back is already killing me since yesterday,” she wrote.

Talk show host Wendy Williams didn’t Tweet, but her partner, Tony Dovolani did, suggesting he was proud of her, even if he spelled the word wrong.

“so prude of her today she worked hard for me,” he wrote.

Another celeb who didn’t Tweet – because he appears to not yet have a Twitter account — was Sugar Ray Leonard, but his partner chimed in for him.

“Discombabulated’ is that a word? Sugar Ray Leonard says so!” Anna Trebunskaya Tweeted.

As for Chelsie Hightower and Romeo, she wrote, “Let’s do this,” while he replied to a fan noting he was, “at rehearsals now.”
