Gabby Douglas & Jordyn Wieber’s Hollywood Dreams Include Vampires & Werewolves

Olympic gymnast stars Gabby Douglas and Jordyn Wieber are hoping to continue their winning streak with roles opposite Hollywood vampires and werewolves – but not with Edward or Jacob.

Access Hollywood’s Michelle Beadle caught up with Gabby, 16, and Jordyn, 17, on Thursday in New York City where they said they’d love to nab cameos on two of their favorite shows.

“I think if the opportunity [for acting roles] come up we would do it,” Jordyn said.

“I would go on ‘Vampire Diaries’ as maybe even a vampire,” Gabby said.

“My favorite TV show is ‘Teen Wolf,’ so maybe [I could go] on that show. It would be awesome,” Jordyn told Access.

First up, Gabby will rub elbows with Oprah on “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” something she’s still in awe about.

“I get so nervous so easily on the shows” she explained. “Oh my God, it’s Oprah! But, I’m going to stay calm and relax be myself.”

Beyond Hollywood, both Gabby and Jordyn are looking forward to returning home and enjoying some relaxation.

“We’re so happy to be back in the States and I’m so happy to go home and visit our families and friends my dogs of course,” Gabby, who lives in Iowa, said. “Everyone’s going to be at the airport, they’re going to throw like a little get-together for me. I’m happy that I’m coming back to a warm welcome.

Jordyn, who is from Michigan, also expects some fanfare when she returns home.

“I have a feeling that there’s going be people at the airport,” she added.
