“Game of Thrones” is gearing up to drop a Season 5 sneak peek trailer in IMAX cinemas.
HBO announced that the worldwide debut of the trailer will premiere exclusively in select IMAX theaters across the U.S., following a screening of the final two episodes of Season 4.
Fans will be able to watch Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) and the Night’s Watch battle against the wildlings in the first hour, and watch the shocking drama from King’s Landing in the second before the trailer runs.

Although Season 4 was one of its most stunning, HBO has confirmed that the “Thrones” episodes they are taking to cinemas will be digitally remastered into IMAX format.
The special episodes and trailer showings will air for just one-week in more than 150 IMAX theaters stateside, begining Januarly 23 through the 29. More details will be available in the coming days on www.imax.com.
