HBO has released the first promotional poster for “Game of Thrones” Season 3.
The show is still months away from hitting the air, and the poster helps make that point, showing just the date of the show’s return, printed atop a gray background. (Click HERE to see the poster & photos of the new cast members!)
“Game of Thrones” returns on March 31, 2013.

When the show does hit the air, it will be filled with yet another bunch of new faces, including Ciaran Hinds (“Political Animals”) playing Mance Rayder, the king beyond the wall, and Diana Rigg, who will play Marjorie Tyrell’s grandmother, Lady Olenna Tyrell.

“Diana Rigg, man. She’s a legend. And of course, she’s done many great things, but she [is] perhaps still best known for playing Emma Peel in the original ‘Avengers’ on British television, but was then syndicated in the United States,” at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego of Diana’s casting. “Fantastic show, brilliantly written, brilliantly acted and she was the hottest woman on television or like — in the world — and I was madly in love with her… like all the other boys of my generation.”
