Game Of Thrones Season 4: George R.R. Martin, Emilia Clarke & Kit Harington Tease What’s Ahead

Production on “Game of Thrones” Season 4 is in full swing and although the cast has remained very tight-lipped about what’s coming up on the show, a few of the stars shared some teases with Access Hollywood at Comic-Con last week.

“A Song of Ice and Fire” author George R.R. Martin on Season 4, Episode 2, which he wrote: “I can’t give very much away, but it’s an exciting episode. It’s got drama and tragedy and comedy and action and all the characters you’ve learned to love and hate, so watch it. It’ll be good.”

Emilia Clarke on whether Daenerys will find a little love with her Season 3 crush – Daario Naharis: “She does need to mend her broken heart. … She’s badass. She’s even badass in love!”

Kit Harington on whether Ygritte (Jon Snow’s ex) will seek vengeance in Season 4: “I think she is gonna be after vengeance. [Rose Leslie] just walked past [this interview] and nodded. She was like, ‘Yeah! I am.’ Jon doesn’t always make the smartest decisions. He had to make that decision and… you’d question him if he didn’t end up getting with her, because you can see his appeal to her, and so I’m glad that he did. It’s one of those things — you sleep with someone one time and they shoot you with arrows. It’s like life.”

Rose Leslie on how Ygritte is feeling following Jon’s betrayal: “Distraught, but livid. If there’s any emotion, it’s just anger – absolute anger! Certainly at the end of Season 3, we saw her distraught and that was just heartbreaking because she couldn’t believe that the man she fell in love with and who she believed loved her back would betray her and run off like that. But don’t worry, she got her comeuppance. She shot him with three arrows, so that’s OK. So, yes, with Season 4, I think we’re going to see a tougher, kind of grueling side to her.”
