“General Hospital’s” Kirsten Storms and Brandon Barash recently tied the knot and are expecting their first child together, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
“Wow! Thanks to everyone for all the love! Brandon and I are very very very excited about this new adventure,” Kirsten Tweeted on Tuesday after fans congratulated the couple on their news.
Brandon too was moved by the response from fans.

“Wow peeps…the outpouring of love and blessings is humbling. I love you all,” he Tweeted.
Brandon used to play mobster Johnny Zacchara on the ABC soap, but recently left the series. Kirsten plays Maxie Jones. Maxie is currently in labor on the show.

Kirsten’s real life pregnancy will not be written into the show, a rep for “GH” told Access.
The couple’s baby — a girl — is due in January, Brandon told People.
“It’s been the most amazing couple of months of our lives,” he told the mag of their June wedding and their baby news.
“We kept things quiet because of everything that can go wrong during the first trimester,” he added. “Kirsten did have a rocky [time] and we were in and out of the hospital.”

Asked on Twitter if Bradford Anderson, who plays Spinelli, the father of Maxie’s “GH” baby, will be an “honorary Uncle” for her own child with Brandon, Kirsten Tweeted, “of course.”
Brandon responded to the question by Tweeting, “DUH!”
