George Clooney & Elisabetta Canalis Go Public In Venice

George Clooney might have been sporting a bandage on his hand from a recent incident with a car door, but the actor had his new gal pal, Italian MTV presenter Elisabetta Canalis, on his arm when he arrived at the Venice Film Festival on Monday.

The duo was spotted arriving at Venice’s Lido Nicelli Airfield Monday evening. George and Elisabetta, whom local Italian media call, as “La Canalis,” or “Eli,” also stepped out together Tuesday morning, arriving at the film festival for the “Men Who Stare at Goats” photo call by water taxi.

According to People, the 48-year-old actor and the 30-year-old Italian beauty have been “inseparable” for the past three weeks. The duo has been reportedly spending time at the actor’s home in Lake Como.

George and Elisabetta have been reportedly enjoying spending time together at the actor’s lakeside estate, enjoying meals at home, lounging poolside and hitting the water in the actor’s boat.

The mag reported that local Italian papers are calling the duo, the new Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
