‘Ghostbusters 3’ Is Happening, Director Confirms!

Get the proton packs out of storage — “Ghostbusters 3” is happening.

Director Paul Feig Tweeted that the film — about a group battling the paranormal — is a go.

“It’s official. I’m making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That’s who I’m gonna call,” he wrote.

Katie wrote “The Heat,” which Paul directed.

The last “Ghostbusters” film was released in 1989.
