Mel Gibson is out – but former President Bill Clinton is reportedly in the cast of “The Hangover 2.”

According to People and TMZ (which first reported the news), Clinton shot a cameo for the comedy on Saturday in Bangkok, Thailand, where the sequel is currently filming.

TMZ reported that extra security was added to the movie’s set to accommodate Clinton’s presence.

“The Hangover 2” is directed by Todd Philips and stars original cast members Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha. Liam Neeson also shot a cameo, reportedly playing the role of a tattoo artist; a role which Gibson was originally slated to play.

“The Hangover 2” is scheduled to hit theaters on May 26, 2011.
