Boots and warm weather aren’t an obvious match. But designers such as Dolce & Gabbana and Rag & Bone and celebrities like Jennifer Connelly have demonstrated that ankle boots and minis or shorts are actually a perfect pairing.
DENIM
Jeans, you have. But this season the fabric is being made into everything from blazers (at Ralph Lauren) to cute skirts (at Stella McCartney).
CLEAR ACCESSORIES
No more worrying about whether your shoes clash with your dress! Transparent Lucite, Plexiglas and acrylic heels and necklaces turned up at shows as diverse as Prada, Michael Kors and J. Mendel.
