Glam Slam: First-Rate First Lady Fashion

Michelle Obama has done it again! She looked absolutely gorgeous while giving her passionate speech Wednesday at the opening night of the National Democratic Convention. The First Lady hit a style home run with her ensemble, a pretty, shiny pink and grey dress by American designer Tracy Reese.

“So honored,” Tracy tweeted about the First Lady wearing her dress. “Thanks everyone for sharing this amazing moment! We are all so grateful and honored to have dressed Mrs. Obama for such a momentous speech!!”

The sleeveless floral brocade print dress with full skirt, shows off Mrs. Obama’s fabulously toned arms. No sign of the broaches or necklaces, she so loves to wear, she kept the jewelry to a minimum. Her hair… soft and natural.

The First Lady finished the look with $245 pink (rhubarb) suede “Everly” pumps from one of her favorite brands, J. Crew.

I love how the First Lady continues to keep it accessible with her fashion choices. As we all know, she loves to wear affordable brands like Talbots, White House Black Market, Ann Taylor and J. Crew and she’s big on recycling her fashions. That’s something most of us can relate to, which is obviously the point!

Well done Mrs. O, well done!
