Glam Slam: Get Kate’s Gorgeous Globes Face

Kate Hudson’s stunning white Marchesa gown made her the belle of the ball with many naming her THE best dressed at the Golden Globes. Her makeup was equally gorgeous thanks to Celebrity Makeup Artist Leslie Lopez, who worked with Chanel. Here is how Leslie did it:

Prep the skin. Leslie used Chanel Sublimage Essential Regenerating Fluid underneath the makeup. A product like this underneath your base or powder helps the makeup stay on longer, which is especially crucial when there is bad weather like at the Globes.

Next, Leslie used a Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow in Bleu Celestes, which is a mixture of blues and greys. The concrete grey color is used all over the lid. Lighter blue was applied to the inner corners and dark blue on the outer corners. Use your finger to apply just a little bit of the lightest color underneath the brow at the highest point where the arch is. Leslie used Chanel Intense Eye Pencil in Noir to line just the top lid. Lift the corner of the lid and dab a little bit of the pencil right between the eye lashes, which gives a really nice frame to the eye and draws people to the eye.

Add a little bit of color to the checks with Chanel Powder Blush in Rose Petale, which has a tiny bit of shine.

For the lips, Leslie used Aqualumiere Sheer Colour Lipshine in Malta, which is a sheer, subtle peach. It has a lot of moisture and shine, but it’s not glittery.

To finish the look, Leslie applied Chanel Inimitable Mascara in black on both the top and bottom lashes to make eyes really pop.
