Glam Slam: Grammy Style

Memo? What memo? Despite the Grammy wardrobe dress code memo, there was still plenty of skin on display.

Here we break down some of the best…

BEST LEG:
Good thing the Grammy memo didn’t mention showing leg because J.Lo showed a LOT, a whole lot of leg, in her silky, slinky black one-shouldered gown that was slit up to THERE. “This is Anthony Vaccarello,” she told us. “He’s a fairly new designer, he’s probably been around for a while, but we’ve just become very hip to him.” Jennifer had mixed feelings on the wardrobe memo. “I don’t know, you know it’s the Grammys…and it’s about self-expression, which is what music is about and it’s kind of a lot to just be like don’t wear this, don’t wear that, and I feel like they are tempting everybody to like really be crazy.”

MOST MAJOR CLEAVAGE:
I’m not saying I particularly love Katy Perry’s jewel embellished mint green Gucci dress, but there’s no denying it put the girls front and center. The Grammy fashion memo stated that breasts should be “adequately covered.” Hmmmm…I think this may have pushed that envelope a bit!

BEST SHEER:
Rihanna’s red hot Azzedine Alaia dress had sheer panels that apparently showed more skin in person than it does in photos. At any rate, I loved her look….the bold color of the dress paired with red lips, long flowy hair and $2 million worth of jewels. It was all superglam and was my pick for best dressed. Way to go girl!

BEST BACK BEARING GOWN:
Taylor Swift went for the goddess-glam look in a beautiful ivory J. Mendel gown with silver accents, which showed off her toned arms and back. Pure Taylor, this was a very feminine look that showed off some skin, but not too much skin. Classy and elegant.
