Glam Slam: Halloween Came Early This Year

My kids got into the Halloween spirit early this year, when we went to a cute “Halloween Celebration” this past weekend for Pottery Barn Kids.

The family friendly event was held at LA’s swank Mondrian Hotel on a gorgeous, sunny day. Part of the outdoor terrace was transformed into a pumpkin patch complete with apple bobbing! I must admit, it’s not every day that you see a ton of kids taking over the hip hotel! My 14-month-old kept running out of the party and heading straight for SkyBar — she’s starting a bit early, don’t you think?

The kids were given treat bags to go “Trick or Treating” at a fun candy bar. My daughter loved the chocolate bars decorated with white crepe paper to look like mummies! There were also candy apples, green “monster eye” cookies, pumpkin shaped crispy treats and “dirt and worms.” (That would be chocolate pudding and gummy worms, for those of you who don’t have kids).

The kids got to decorate pumpkins at a big craft station and they could play dress up with costumes and take photos.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler brought her son, Beau, and Molly Sims was with her son, Brooks, pictured. (Molly revealed on Monday that she’s pregnant with baby number two — congrats!). Molly met my two girls and we bonded over her shoes. She was wearing the same pair of Chanel sandals I bought this year…and we both talked all about how much we loved them and how we wore them to death.

My girls had such a fun time. The best part though was that the event benefitted Baby2Baby– guests were asked to donate Halloween costumes to the organization.
