Glam Slam: Hip Hair At The MTV Movie Awards

The MTV Movie awards are always fun for fashion watchers because the styles are edgy and unpredictable — you just never know what the stars will wear.

The same goes for hair, which is a little wilder than your typical movie award show and a good place to take chances.

Both Kristen Stewart and Jessica Biel did just that with their red carpet hair styles and here’s how you can achieve their looks.

KRISTEN STEWART —
WHO: Adir Abergel for Frederic Fekkai

THE INSPIRATION: Grunge rock and roll meets retro punk

THE LOOK: Sexy, textured and undone

HOW TO GET THE LOOK: On wet hair Adir applied a fist full of Fekkai Coiff Strong Hold Volume Mousse all over the roots. He then rough dried the hair using only his hands to create texture. Adir then separated the hair into sections and used a half-inch curling iron to curl each section from the roots to the ends. He separated the curls using his fingers and side swept the top of the hair to create an undone side part. Adir completed the look by spraying Fekkai Summer Hair Beach Waves Spray all over the hair and used a diffuser to lock in the shape and body of the hair.

JESSICA BIEL —
WHO: Renato Campora for Frederic Fekkai

INSPIRATION: The look was created to compliment Jessica’s sophisticated and highly detailed dress

THE LOOK: Elegant yet modern; sleek and sexy

HOW TO GET THE LOOK: On wet hair, Renato applied Fekkai Coiff Strong Hold Volume Mousse mixed with Fekkai Advanced Brilliant Glossing Cream from roots to ends. He then dried the hair with a round brush to create volume and maximize shine. To complete the look Renato applied a small amount of Fekkai Silky Straight Ironless Smooth Finish Serum to the hair to prevent any flyaways and tame the ends of the hair.
