“This is like the fashion all-stars, you know?” a gorgeous Kerry Washington said to us at the CFDA Fashion Awards last night.
“So it’s really fun to be able to kind of dip into somebody else’s industry, somebody else’s world, and be around all of these dynamic, talented artists.”
You’re not so bad yourself, Kerry!
The “Scandal” star stunned on the red carpet in her beautiful, bold yellow Jason Wu gown.
“He’s such a good friend of mine, so sometimes he gives me a little sneak peak and this is from the collection that he’s gonna show in a couple of weeks.”
Lucky girl! And Kerry wasn’t the only one getting a little designer love.
Sofia Vergara, in a bright colored gown that showed off every curve to perfection, attended the event with jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz, wearing a statement necklace with almost 400 carats of South Columbian emeralds.
“We all die to wear her stuff,” Sofia said, “because I think it makes your eyes shine to have something so beautiful on you.”
And wowza! How awesome did Nicole Richie look? She’s a golden goddess in a liquid metallic Marc Jacobs gown paired with jewelry by Jennifer Meyer, a CFDA nominee.
“It’s so amazing and, you know, Jen has been a friend of mine for a very long time so I’m more than happy to come and support her and I’m very happy for her. She got a nomination tonight, so it’s really exciting.”
