Glam Slam: Makeup Mondays – Emma Stone’s Sassy Summer Glam

Last week I singled out Emma Stone at the MTV Movie Awards because I liked her sassy bright lipstick. Well, now I have all the details of how you too can achieve her fresh look.

WHO:
Chanel Celebrity Makeup Artist Rachel Goodwin

INSPIRATION:
Emma wore a beautiful black and white bustier top and skirt combo, so I wanted to keep the look fun and playful.

HOW TO:
Foundation: For her skin, I wanted it to look as if Emma had spent a day at the beach – slightly sun kissed with a flush of color on her cheeks. I first applied CHANEL Le Blanc de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base, to even the skin. I then used a foundation, REVLON PhotoReady Airbrush Mousse Makeup, two shades darker than her normal skin tone. To make the look last all night, I applied CHANEL Natural Finish Pressed Powder over the foundation.

Blush: I added a touch of peach colored blush, CHANEL Powder Blush in In Love, to the apples of her cheeks.

Brows: I penciled in the skin behind her brows with the CHANEL Sculpting Eye Brow Pencil in Brun Natural then combed then backwards to soften and give them a fuller more arched effect.

Eye Shadow: Using the CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Prelude, I placed the ivory shade all over the lid to the brow bone and then blended the soft Taupe shade in the crease for subtle definition.

Eye liner: I used REVLON ColorStay Liquid Liner in Blackest Black on her upper eyelid concentrating in the inner eye and stopping blunt at the outer corners, so it wasn’t exactly your typical cat eye look

Mascara: I used two coats of REVLON Grow Luscious Mascara in Blackest Black focusing on the upper lashes.

Lips: I used REVLON Just Kissable in Rendezvous, a nude pencil for a defined shape then blended the lip pencil on top blotting with tissue just before she walked out the door.
