We are just days away from the 61st annual Emmy Awards this Sunday. Makeup artist Tina Turnbow, who is creating nominee Mary-Louise Parker’s Emmy beauty look, predicts that celebs will take color risks on the red carpet – both in their dress and their makeup.
Look for bright, colorful eye makeup paired with full, flirty lashes and healthy, fresh skin. Celeb makeup artist, Joanna Schlip, who is doing nominee Christina Applegate for the big day, agrees that perfect skin is key and thinks bold lips will be making a statement this year.
Of course, these looks aren’t limited to the red carpet. The ladies reveal their tips so you can try them out yourself.

It creates a perfect canvas for Clarins True Radiance Foundation.”
TREND: BOLD LIPS

TREND: FLUSHED, HEALTHY SKIN

For flushed, pink cheeks, I apply Maybelline New York Expert Wear Blush in Pinch O Pink on the apple of the cheeks.”
