Glam Slam: Must Have ‘Stuff’

Being famous definitely has its perks. For one – stars get a lot of free stuff. Seems unfair, right? They make the most money and yet they get everything free! But they can also use their fame for a good cause and that’s exactly what happened this weekend at Access Hollywood and On 3 Productions’ 4th Annual “Stuff You Must” Golden Globes gifting lounge where Billy Bush accepted a massive check benefiting the Lollipop Theater Network and Best Buddies.

CVS/pharmacy made a $100,000 contribution on behalf of celebrities that visited the lounge.

“Just by showing up, money will be donated to some nice causes,” ‘30 Rock’ star Jane Krakowski told us at the two day event, while ‘CSI NY’ star Melina Kanakaredes admitted, “it’s the only lounge I’m going to, because they are giving back to two charities that are wonderful charities.”

Kate Walsh and ‘90210’s’ Shenae Grimes helped give the full star treatment to kids from Best Buddies and Lollipop Theater, including hair styling by Celebrity Hairstylist Ric Pipino, featuring his new hair care line Revolution in Cut

Ric’s celeb clients include Jaime Pressly who got her tresses tended to at the Beauty 360 Suite smack dab in the center of the Lounge. (Beauty 360 is the new prestige beauty destination from CVS/pharmacy with upscale products and services). Celebrity Makeup Artist Vincent Longo worked his makeup magic (using his own line of cosmetics, of course!) on ‘Glee’s’ Jane Lynch. Lisa Rinna got a lash application from Pop Beauty.

‘American Idol’ Judge Kara DioGuardi went for an Infiniti Cord-Keeper hair dryer by Conair, while Kate Walsh got yoga pants and a hoodie from urban lifestyle apparel line, Bench.

“I like that they’re slip-ons I’m getting older, ya know?” Neil Patrick Harris joked with us as he did a little shoe shopping at Guess, while Jennie Garth picked up matching purple New Balance sneakers from the Fierce Trax Collection for both her and her daughters. Jennie also squealed she was so excited when she saw the Jill Reno jewelry booth. Badgley Mischka featured a selection of beautiful watches and ‘Dexter’ co-stars Jennifer Carpenter and Julie Benz both fell in love with the same style!

Marissa Jaret Winokur avoided a near wardrobe malfunction at the Fashion Forms booth, which luckily for her had plenty of intimate apparel accessories on hand as well as beautiful lingerie. She was having trouble keeping her dress up until the ladies at the booth came to her rescue providing her with some double-stick tape to help keep everything in place. Phew!

Gilles Marini picked out a pair of Blessed & Cursed dark denim jeans and AnnaLynne McCord went for a “Golden Glam” leather jacket. The perfect choice for a weekend packed with plenty of “Golden” Globes glamour. The stars left with all their goodies packed inside a fabulous Microfiber Tote from Carlos Falchi.
