Glam Slam: Real Housewife Lisa Hochstein’s Fab Hairstyle!

Get ready for Season 3 of “The Real Housewives of Miami,” which debuts on Bravo next week!

And, one of the most watched gals is model-turned-professional housewife Lisa Hochstein. The former Playboy model is married to Miami’s famed plastic surgeon, Dr. Lenny Hochstein (aka the King of Miami Boobs). Never shy to flaunt her surgically enhanced body, this season, Lisa’s drama will center on their quest to start a family.

To get her hair pumped up and ready for her on-camera reality gig, Lisa relies on Miami hairstylist Rene Fiores, of South Beach’s BDry Blow Bar. Lisa is known for long, wavy blonde hairstyle. While, her hair appears to have lots of body, Rene reveals to Glam Slam, her texture is naturally thin. The challenge is to give her hair lots of voluminous curls that last.

Rene shares with Glam Slam his product weapons for giving Lisa’s (or anyone’s) hair lots of body and staying power.

Step 1: Prep
Before blow-drying, Rene applies Keratin ComplexVita Volume Boosting Foam to help lift hair from root to tip for optimum volume and bounce. The non-greasy formula does double-duty, it contains natural keratin which strengths hair from within.

Step 2: Add More Volume
For targeted volume at Lisa’s roots, Rene prefers Redken Powder Grip, which adds texture and fullness to her hair.

Step 3: Set
For naturally thin hair, curls tend to fall flat fairly quickly, so need to use a hairspray to give them holding power. Rene likes Tresemme Tres two Hairspray, which never leaves hair sticky or stiff.

Step 4: Treat
For thinner hair that is often treated and exposed to heat, it is important to regularly apply a protective serum to keep hair strong, silky and frizz free. Rene suggests using Keratin Complex’s Intense Rx.
