Black and/or white were the big style statements this week. Here are my picks for the five best!
ELLE MACPHERSON:
Wowza. I’ll have what she’s having! The model is turning 49 this month—how can that be? Her plunging Ralph Lauren white suit with wide-legged pants is ultra-flattering and I would kill for those flowing locks!
JENNIFER LOPEZ:
You’ve gotta be confident with yourself and your body to wear form-fitting white, which is obviously not a problem for J.LO! Jen rocked this wide-legged Barbara Bui jumpsuit with a metallic collar halter and platform pumps on American Idol.
JESSICA ALBA:
Went the black AND white route with this one-sleeve dress featuring an embellished neckline. The actress showed off her fit body and toned legs in this Lanvin dress at the label’s Fall 2012 presentation in Paris. Tres chic!
CAMERON DIAZ:
The actress looks simply stunning in a body-hugging black dress with ruffled-shoulder detailing, simple black pumps and a delicate watch in Basel, Switzerland. Classic and classy!
GWYNETH PALTROW:
Wearing Louis Vuitton in Paris, Gwyneth makes black look anything but basic. It’s all about the details with this ensemble. The collar. The cuffed sleeves. The cropped pants. The fierce shoes. She always gets it right.
