Glam Slam: VMA Style Love

There was no Lady Gaga meat dress this year (thankfully), but there was still loads of fun fashion to check out. Here are the style standouts.

BEST CUTOUTS
Lawd, have mercy! Jennifer Lopez continues to stun and this sparkly silver embellished gown with major cutouts shows off her amazing body. Don’t even get me started on that slit and those legs!

BEST LEATHER
Miley’s bandeau top and high-waisted pants epitomize what style at the VMAs is all about. Young, edgy and hip. Her hair is looking good these days too. Thankfully, she kept her tongue in check.

BEST THROWBACK
I thought the denim dress was permanently retired when Britney did it waaay back in 2001, but Katy Perry paid homage to the pop star when she rocked a custom Versace strapless gown and you know what? It worked!

BEST BOOTS
No music award show would be complete without Ariana Grande’s signature thigh high boots! She paired her moto-chic leather Moschino mini with black leather boots and the end result- hot!

BEST LACE
Beyonce looked classy and sexy at the same time in a curve-hugging long black gown with stragetically placed lace paneled cutouts. Elegant as usual.

BEST LEGS
Taylor Swift continues to evolve when it comes to both her music AND her style. This blue Mary Katrantzou romper paired with burgundy Elie Saab high heel booties showing off her mile-long legs to perfection.

BEST COLOR
Gwen Stefani’s bright pink jump-suit made me happy. So fun! The ensemble- from her own line, L.A.M.B. – was perfect for the occasion. Her hair reminds me of a swirl of cotton candy. And that’s a good thing.
