‘Glee’s’ Lea Michele: Proud Of Not Getting A Nose Job

Just like one of her idols, Barbra Streisand, “Glee’s” Lea Michele says she’s proud that she never went under the knife in hopes of getting a new nose.

The 23-year-old singing sensation told Women’s Health in their June issue that she’s “the only girl in her high school class not to get a nose job.”

Lea is happy with her nose, but the actress said that she’s not immune to the pressures of always looking good.

“I love myself, the way I look, my body, but sometimes I can’t help but feel insecure here. It plays with your head,” she told the mag.

Lea explained that she keeps in shape by sticking to her vegan diet – but admits to sometimes missing the opportunity to indulge.

“My idea of heaven used to be relaxing at home with a cheese plate and champagne,” she said, explaining that after reading the diet book “Skinny Bitch,” she changed her ways. “It slapped me in the face.”

Another slap in the face – in a good way – was getting recognized by some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

“I went out to dinner with my boyfriend, and Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem were leaving the restaurant as we were going in, [Penelope] was like, ‘Eez eet you? Are you dee girl I’ve been zeeing at all of dezz [Award] tings?’” Lea said in her best Penelope voice.

In other “Glee” news, rumors swirled that Filipina singing sensation Charice – who many have compared to a young Whitney Houston – would be joining the cast of hit FOX series, but the singer shot down the rumor on her not-yet-verified Twitter yesterday, writing, “i’m not going to be on glee. how i wish.”

In addition, a rep for Charice also shot down the casting news to Access Hollywood on Wednesday, noting it was “not true.”
