‘The Goldbergs’ To Pay Homage To Another John Hughes Film In Season 4 (Exclusive)

“The Goldbergs” will channel another John Hughes film in their upcoming Season 4 premiere.

Access Hollywood can exclusively reveal that the ABC comedy will pay tribute to the John Hughes classic “The Breakfast Club” when the show returns on September 21 at 8 PM ET/PT.

All three Goldberg kids – Adam (Sean Giambrone), Barry (Troy Gentile) and Erica (Hayley Orrantia) – will find themselves in detention on a Saturday, just like “The Breakfast Club” teens.
