Victoria Beckham once said her family were ?a lot more famous in England and around Europe than we are over here,? but not for much longer.
At a sizzling number two, British soccer stud David Beckham is guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth.
It?s been Beckham Bedlam ever since David announced that he was going to join the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team late this summer.
?I think it?s been a huge decision of mine and my family’s,? he said.
Just how huge? How about a million dollars a week for five years.
?I don’t want to go out to America at 34-years-old and have people say ‘he’s only going there to get the money’. It?s not what I’m going out there to do. I’m going out there to hopefully build a club and a team that has a lot of potential I think that?s what excites me,? he said.
It excites us too, but Beckham?s move to the US comes as no surprise. He told us he was thinking about it a while ago.
$250 million is an amazing amount of money, eighty percent which will come through Beckham?s commercial endorsements from Adidas, Gillette, Motorola and Pepsi and if that wasn?t enough David recently shot an add for Disney?s “The Year of a Million Dreams,? posing as a fairy tale hero.

?I’m the prince,? he said of the ad. ?I’m sort of slaying a dragon which is something I’ve never done before obviously!?
Talk about perfect casting.
With dashing, movie star looks, David, along with his fashion-icon wife, Victoria will have no problems fitting in with the Hollywood elite, especially when you are friends with Tom Cruise.
?He’s a very good friend of mine,? David confirmed. ?He couldn’t speak any higher than what he was saying about LA. That’s going to be a big help to have friends when we arrive in LA.?
When Becks does arrive, soccer may not be the only thing on his mind. David has hired top Hollywood agency CAA to rep him and there is a report that he is being groomed to be the next big action star.
?I’m a soccer player and that’s the most important thing to me, whatever happens after that, you know we’ll have to wait and see,? he told Access Hollywood.
