Guy Ritchie’s Home Reportedly Targeted By Burglars

Guy Ritchie’s country home was reportedly broken into on Monday and police have a man in custody.

According to People, the staff at the filmmaker’s house near Salisbury, Wiltshire, England stopped a reported raid. They apprehended a man who allegedly broke into the home and have turned him over to police.

“We were called to a house following a report of a burglary,” a police spokesman told People. “A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and was taken to Salisbury police station, where he was interviewed by detectives. He was later released on police bail pending further inquiries.”

The man was arrested but charges have yet to filed in the incident.

The “Sherlock Holmes” director was reportedly home at the time but did not see the man. According to a People source, Madonna’s ex-husband was in another part of the house at the time of the break-in. His children were reportedly not at the house.

A rep for Guy had no comment when contacted by People.
