Hailey Glassman Speaks Out About Former Relationship With Jon Gosselin

Following Jon and Kate Gosselin’s 2009 divorce, the newly-single dad moved on to dating Hailey Glassman.

That relationship ended two years ago and now, Hailey, who will be featured in the new Lifetime reality series “My Life is a Lifetime Movie,” sat down with Access Hollywood’s Michelle Beadle to chat about her tumultuous time with Jon.

“Why talk about this right now? Like, why not just go away and chill?” Michelle asked Hailey in a new interview.

“Because honestly, I wanted to help others and I feel this is good for women’s empowerment,” Hailey replied.

Hailey, the daughter of Kate Gosselin’s plastic surgeon, said she wouldn’t classify herself as a “victim,” but that her reality show will shed some light on her relationship with Jon – two years after their breakup.

“I never say I’m a victim but, I mean, watch the show,” she said with a laugh.

When Jon and Kate separated in 2009, Jon, then 32, lived with Hailey’s parents. Hailey, then 22, came home from college, and the two began dating.

In Hailey’s November episode of “My Life is a Lifetime Movie,” she says that’s when the scrutiny began.

“Next thing I know there’s a million reporters up at Indiana, and they’re doing everything they can to paint me as Jon’s trashy party girl mistress, because no one knows that Jon and his wife have been separated for almost a year,” she said.

Things turned sour, they broke up, and the blame game began on both sides. For instance, Hailey claims Jon would tip off the paparazzi as to their location.

“I had no idea how the media worked,” she said. “I find out while I’m hiding under the bed that he was setting me up the whole time with pictures. And I’m thinking to myself, ‘How did they know I’m here?’”

These days, Hailey says she’s dating a more powerful older man, but one who is “younger” than her father.

“My current life is like reality ‘Modern Family,’ you know, [like] so what he’s got two ex-wives and four kids,” she said.

Adding, “I’m not saying his name because he is a public figure and I want — I’ve been keeping it on the low.”

“My Life is a Lifetime Movie” airs on Wednesdays at 10 PM on Lifetime.
