Harrison Ford Back In The Air For First Time Since March Plane Crash

Harrison Ford has returned to the skies!

The 72-year-old “Star Wars: Force Awakens” actor flew for the first time since his March crash, on Thursday.

He was spotted at the Santa Monica Airport where he co-piloted his Bell 407 helicopter.

According to a People source, the actor was thrilled to be back in the air.

“Harrison was very, very happy to be back at the airport,” a source told the mag. “He kept smiling and, although walking with a slight limp, looked great.”

Adding, “He co-piloted his helicopter and flew up and down the coast with a friend for a couple of hours. He seemed very excited about flying again.”

The actor was hospitalized in March after he made a crash landing on a golf course in Venice, Calif. in his WWII-era aircraft, which suffered loss of engine power shortly after taking off from Santa Monica Municipal Airport.
