HBO Releases Teaser For Sarah Jessica Parker’s New Comedy, ‘Divorce’

Sarah Jessica Parker is returning to HBO with a new comedy
series — “Divorce” — and the long lead tease dropped on Wednesday.

“I want a divorce,” SJP’s character, Frances,
tells her husband, played by Thomas Haden Church.

The clip shows the couple engaging in a little counseling.

“You had an emotional affair,” Frances says.

“It was not an affair because it was never
physical,” her husband replies, to the astonishment of Frances and their
therapist.

SJP also posted the clip on her Instagram page, writing, “A long time coming. And a great thrill that my friends @hboallowed me to share with you the official FIRST look and just a wee appetizer of #DivorceonHBO. Coming to @hbo this fall.”

“Divorce” will span 10 episodes and also stars
Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam, Tracy Letts, Sterling Jerins and Charlie Kilgore.

The pilot episode was penned by “Catastrophe’s”
Sharon Horgan.

“Divorce” premieres this fall on HBO.
