LOS ANGELES (September 20, 2006) — Chalk up a “VICTORY!” for Vinnie Chase and the boys.
The Emmy-winning hit HBO series “Entourage” has been renewed for a 12-episode fourth season, it was announced on Wednesday.
Created by Doug Ellin, the show has debuted 34 episodes to date, wrapping its 2006 run in August; eight more episodes from the third season will debut in early 2007.
Drawing on the experiences of industry insiders, “Entourage” explores the world of Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), a sexy young movie star whose career is heating up.
To share the fun of the ride and keep him grounded, Vince looks to Eric (Kevin Connolly), Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), his longtime pals from Queens. Together, they experience the highs and lows of life in the fast lane of Hollywood, where the stakes are higher, and the money and temptations greater, than ever before.
The 2006 episodes found Vince and company struggling to cope with mega-success in the wake of his hit movie “Aquaman.”
In 2006, “Entourage” received five Emmy nominations, including Emmy winner for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Jeremy Piven), two for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.
