Healthy Hollywood: Cat Deeley Wants To Make You Smile!

Over the years, Healthy Hollywood has interviewed a lot of celebrities. Some live up to their diva reputation, while others couldn’t be nicer!

Let’s put “So You Think Can Dance” host Cat Deeley in the “couldn’t be nicer” category.

Healthy Hollywood met up with the popular British-born host at a media event for Crest 3D White. First off, she’s stunning in person, tall ‘n enviably lean. But, more impressive is her chatty, down-to-earth personality.

I felt like I had new BFF – talking beauty, guys, and of course the stress of raising my teenage daughter in New York City.

Cat teamed up with Crest 3D White to host a best smile contest on their Facebook page. The winner will join Cat on the red carpet to attend the upcoming Young Hollywood Awards.

“Throughout the course of my career I’ve learned the true value of a bright smile. In fact, having a white smile has helped me overcome tough on and off-screen moments, pull off daring fashion and feel more confident around new people,” reveals Cat.

And, these days she’s got plenty to smile about! Besides, gearing for up for season 10 of FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance,” Cat got married in September. She and comedian Patrick Kielty quietly wed in Rome in a small ceremony.

“On that night nobody could have taken the smile off my face. It was a lovely time. My husband said some lovely things. We had the best time. It was a lot of dancing, stupidity, spraying champagne and Italian food for days,” she revealed to Healthy Hollywood.

Unlike some brides who will starve themselves and go for a head-to-toe makeover, Cat says that’s not her style. “Who wants to be starving, grouchy and hungry? It’s all about having confidence and looking as good as you can and making the most of what you have. Whether it’s for it’s a wedding, an awards ceremony, or a big night out. For me it’s all about having a consistent beauty regimen. I just do bits and pieces everyday so that I can get ready in 20 minutes if I need to.”

The natural beauty tries to be as healthy as possible. She likes to hike and do yoga. But, she owes her flawless complexion to a combo of regular facials and a daily skincare routine. “I wish there was quick fix for everything, but there’s not. But, it can be as simple as getting plenty of sleep, drinking lots of water and moisturizing.”
