Healthy Hollywood: Get Movin’ Monday – Alison Sweeney’s Race to Fitness!

“The Biggest Loser” host Allison Sweeney has to workout to maintain her fit figure. Alison, 36, has managed to maintain her 30-pound weight loss for almost 15 years, thanks to a healthy diet and exercise.

“One of the best things you can do to motivate other people is to get out there and do it yourself, and that’s what I work on. I just want to be healthy and fit and hopefully that will help other people get the message and inspired. If I can do it, you can do it,” exclaims Alison to Healthy Hollywood!

The mother of two inspired thousands the other week at the More Magazine/Fitness Magazine’s Women’s Half-Marathon in New York’s Central Park. Sweeny co-hosted the 10th anniversary of this race and completed the half-marathon in less than two hours. More than 7,550 women from around the world took part in the race. “I was so honored to asked to be a part of this event and to support fitness and health along with thousands of women,” said Alison, who added, “I went running with 10,000 of my closet friends this morning and it was awesome!”

Besides running, Alison also likes to hike, bike and take spin classes. And, she’s especially proud to be part of NBC’s weight loss hit, “The Biggest Loser.”

“Fitness is such a huge part of my life – I’ve made a career of it and “The Biggest Loser” is, I’m proud to say, making a real difference in people’s lives. I’ve met so many people here today [More Magazine/Fitness Magazine’s Half-Marathon] and even getting to New York on the flight people talked to me about how “The Biggest Loser” has helped inspire them and change their life.”
