Healthy Hollywood: Get Movin’ Monday – Minka Kelly’s Body Rocks In Red!

Esquire Magazine named Minka Kelly the sexiest women alive in 2010! Fast forward three years and she’s hotter than ever.

The former “Friday Night Lights” star showed off her curves for a good cause at the Heart Truth Red Campaign, which kicked off New York’s Fashion week. This amazing show helps to raise money and heighten awareness about women and heart disease.

“I was inspired to get involved with them just because I learned that heart disease is the number one killer of woman. I didn’t know that until I got involved with this cause,” the actress reveals to Healthy Hollywood.

Healthy Hollywood met up with the super-sweet Minka at her dress fitting the day before the runway show. We chatted about working out and the importance of doing exercise not to get skinny, but to feel healthy.

“I don’t think anyone’s goal, when working out, should ever be to fit in a size two. My body will never put me in a size zero. And I’m okay with that. I just want to feel good. I want to have energy. I want to feel healthy. I want to last a lot of years,” confides Minka to Healthy Hollywood.

I think guys will agree, Minka’s got all the right curves! To keep her body in athletic shape, the 32-year-old works with a trainer three days a week and on off days is doing something, like yoga or hiking.

“It’s important, and it also has a lot to do with keeping your heart healthy, at the same time,” adds Minka.

And, if her perfect figure wasn’t enough to get the guy’s cooing, she also loves to cook.

“I love to cook. I love to bake. I don’t think I’m best the cook, but I certainly try,” she adds. Her specialty is banana bread. And, this is one Hollywood gal, who is not afraid to splurge, adding, “When I’m feeling down, it’s certainly not health food. It would probably be chocolate or ice cream or frozen yogurt with lots of toppings,” says Minka.

Healthy Hollywood gives Minka’s realistic yet healthy lifestyle two huge thumbs. Be well, Minka.
