Healthy Hollywood: Jennifer Hudson’s Weight Loss Success

Jennifer Hudson looks absolutely sensational. The singer/actress is the picture of health and the ultimate weight loss success story.

Four days after the birth of son David in 2009, the award-winning superstar decided she wanted to be healthier for her son and embarked on an 80-pound weight loss journey. And, she’s managed to keep it off!

“Take is one step at a time. Like each day, it’s a battle in losing weight and it’s a battle just the same in keeping all things like that and just being healthy and conscious. But I just take it one day at a time,” reveals Jennifer to Healthy Hollywood.

Healthy Hollywood caught up with Jennifer at the New York City party hosted by Gilt City to celebrate the release of her new album, “JHUD.” “‘JHUD’ is the girl you’re going to get to know through this album that matches my energies. Very uplifting,” notes Jennifer.

Jennifer also helped curate a collection exclusively for the fashion/lifestyle site of her favorite local hotspots in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

Jennifer tells me she’s at a very positive place in her life and she wants to pass on good vibes through her music. And, she advises anyone who is trying to lose weight or make a positive change in their life needs the right motivation, adding, “Do it for you. You have to do it for you. There’s nothing you can do for someone else. That’s something that’s very personal. And, you can only accomplish it when it’s for you. So you have to do it for the right reasons, which would be for you.”

“It’s all about energy. I’m a person that vibes off of good energies and so I’m sensitive to it. So, I like to give off good energy in a positive way,” concludes Jennifer.
