Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt Reconcile, Reality Star Asks Judge To Dismiss Divorce Filing

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have decided to stick together.

On Wednesday, Heidi filed papers in Los Angeles Superior court requesting that a judge dismiss her July 2010 filing to divorce Spencer.

The request for dismissal comes just weeks after the two were first captured by the paparazzi in close quarters, looking like a couple again.

Heidi’s lawyer, Jodeane Farrell, told People that the couple made the decision to work toward rekindling their romance after spending time in each other’s company.

“After spending time together over these past several months Heidi and Spencer have decided to reconcile,” the lawyer told the mag.

Heidi and Spencer aren’t back on track, but the couple told People they are doing their best to work it out.

“We are back together trying to make things work,” the couple told the mag. “Costa Rica really put things in perspective. We do love each other and realized we do want to spend the rest of our lives together.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the couple, whose relationship was documented on the MTV reality series “The Hills,” first married in April 2009, in a lavish ceremony documented on the TV show.

The couple began living separate lives earlier this year, with Heidi moving out for what was – at the time, reported to be just for the summer — to live with a friend, Jen Bunny.

The two were planning to film a reality show, but Jen blogged over the summer that Heidi’s personal life kept her from taking part in the project.

Spencer too seemed to be moving in different directions, lashing out at people on Twitter and turning up in a disguise to “The Hills” finale party back in July.
