Hilary Duff Is Having A Boy; Reveals Cravings & Baby Name Ideas

Hilary Duff is “four months and a bit” with her first baby and she’s already having cravings and pondering what to name her little one.

The 24-year-old – who revealed earlier on Friday that she and husband Mike Comrie are expecting a boy – stopped by Access Hollywood Live where she dished on her pregnancy, including details about how she shared the news with her hubby.

“He was taking a shower and I couldn’t wait and do anything cute, I was just like, ecstatic, and I ran in there and tapped on the shower glass, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God!’ holding up the test, and he’s like, ‘What?’” the star told Kit Hoover and guest co-host Joely Fisher. “He comes out and he’s like, soaking wet, and gives me a big hug. It was really exciting.”

Hilary, who is a little over four months along, explained that certain foods are already making her stomach turn.

“Chicken is disgusting to me right now, the smell, the texture,” she said. “I just really crave carbs.”

And what might Hilary and her hockey player husband name their little one?

“Before I even got pregnant, I had a list. We have a few [names,] we’re kind of debating and going back and forth,” she said. “We’re thinking were going to go either traditional middle name and unique first name, or we’re just going to go super traditional.”

Adding, “We’re up for suggestions!”

The mom-to-be also admitted that finding out the sex of her baby was exciting because she can now partake in some retail therapy.

“I was just dying to find out what I’m having so I could start shopping,” she said with a smile.

Hilary’s latest novel, “Devoted: An Elixir Novel” was released earlier this week and is available in stores now.
