Holly Madison: I’m Turning My Placenta Into Pills To Take

Mom-to-be Holly Madison – who is nine months pregnant – has a plan to recover after giving birth.

“This might sound gross, but I’m totally planning on having my placenta turned into pills I can take after giving birth,” the 33-year-old former Playboy model wrote on her blog on Wednesday.

Adding, “I heard it helps women recover faster and I want to recover as quickly as I can! Have any other moms out there done this?”

According to Us Weekly, January Jones also had her placenta turned into pills (which some say helps nourish new moms and also wards off postpartum depression) after she welcomed her son Xander in September 2011.

Besides sharing her post-birth plans, Holly gave her fans a look inside her baby daughter’s new room.

“Making progress painting my nursery . . . I wonder if I will finish in time!” she wrote, posting a photo of a massive mural.

The “Girls Next Door” and “Holly’s World” star, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Pasquale Rotella, is due March 5.
