Hollywood Boxing Promoter Offering $1M Each To Get Mark Wahlberg, Will Smith In The Ring

They’ve both played boxers on the big screen, and now a boxing promoter is hoping to get Will Smith and Mark Wahlberg into the ring in real life.

Damon Feldman, CEO of the Hollywood Boxing Federation, confirmed to Access Hollywood that he is offering $1 million each to both Mark, star of “The Fighter,” and Will, star of 2001’s “Ali,” to square off against each other in the ring.

The CEO said he’d like the fight to be conducted, “with 24-ounce boxing gloves.”

“It would be a good show,” he told Access Hollywood, adding the event would be “a good, fast, easy way to make money.”

The promoter told Radar Online, which broke the story, that he’d like the two A-Listers to fight three, one-minute rounds.

“We don’t think these two are going to rip each others heads off,” he told the website. “We’re just hoping they get into the ring and have a little fun duking it out.”

Previous fighters for the HBF include Michael Lohan, Rodney King and Danny Bonaduce, which makes the likelihood of the two superstars actually ever duking it out seem rather unlikely.

Access reached out to reps for both Mark and Will, but has not heard back at this time.
