A day after Demi Moore announced that she’s divorcing Ashton Kutcher after six years together, reports have surfaced about the state of the actress following the split.
“She said [she] was going to change for the better,” a source told Us Weekly.
Adding, “And that it was time for her to focus on herself again and her girls.”
The 49-year-old actress has three daughters with ex Bruce Willis — Rumer, 23; Scout, 20; and Tallulah, 17.
According to the mag, when asked about Ashton, Demi said, “He has his thing,” but she “wanted to focus on her.”
Many are wondering if Demi will change her Twitter handle, MrsKutcher, now that she plans to divorce the “Two and a Half Men” star.
The pair were two of Twitter’s first celebrities to embrace the micro-blogging website.
In 2010, Demi’s Tweets painted a much different picture of the couple’s relationship.
“you are the best. the sweetest and I am crazy about you mr kutcher!” Demi Tweeted in March 2010, according to People.
After allegations of infidelity arose, her Tweets changed.
In September, the actress posted a photo of a broken heart, writing, “2day can U feel some1 else’s heart pain needs desires as U can feel your own? At the core we’re all reaching 4 the same.”
As of press time, Demi has not changed her MrsKutcher Twitter handle.
