“Grey’s Anatomy” star Katherine Heigl and “Desperate Housewives” actress Eva Longoria set the bar pretty high on the Emmy red carpet last Sunday. Now, Access Hollywood shows you how you can pull off their looks for yourself.
We show you how to get Katherine and Eva’s head-turning style and Emmy night glow starting with makeup at the Chanel boutique in Beverly Hills.

“The color is called Lover and it really compliments the fair skin tone, especially on Katherine,” Monika explained. |

Her nude lips in Seashell gloss helped make her smoky eyes stand out. One way to get that look, Monika said, is to experiment.

EMMY HAIR:
Next stop, Frederic Fekkai, where the man behind Katherine’s French-inspired ‘do, stylist Campbell McAuley, showed Access how he created Heigl’s hairstyle.

First, gather hair into a low ponytail. “This is where I took with Katherine’s hair three sections,” he explained. |

Then roll, pin and sculpt to your liking. “[It created a] classic sort of softness through the front,” McAuley said. |

As for Eva’s fashionable faux bob, start with an overall curl, then shake it out, don’t brush. “It’s another sort of adaptation of a great bed head sort of style,” McAuley said. |

Finally tuck hair under and pin in place and voila, “an Eva Longoria look which is exquisite,” he said. |
