The return of John Travolta the singer is one good reason to catch “Hairspray” when it opens Friday. The cast’s eye-popping fashion, is another. Today, we show you how to bring a little of their ‘60s style to your own life.

“Hairspray” costume designer, Rita Ryack provided the real film frocks and at LA boutiqueecookie, we show you their modern day retro replicas.

“Every designer now is doing the 1960’s fashion,” ecookie’sElaine Franciscosaid.

Michelle Pfeiffer flashed her fit physique in this cocktail costume. Just as sexy? This cheap chic version from Forever 21.

“The dress is only $25,” Elaine said.

Amanda Bynes “jumped” right into this vintage green, schoolgirl jumper – modernized by label Madison Marcus in classic black.

“Mischa Barton and Nicole Richie love this look,” Elaine said.

From fun frills to pretty polka dots, Brittany Snow’s dainty dresses exemplified sixties style.

Just as cute? Bold patterns and colors, like this navy Anna Sui strapless.

“It’s definitely your summer dress,” Elaine says of this one.

Nikki Blonsky dazzled in this show-stopping sequin stunner. Today, pair Express’ economical version with Aldo flats.

“You wanna wear the metallic dress with the patent toe,” Elaine said.
