Howard K. Stern’s Lawyers Sound Off On Anna Autopsy

After the results from Anna Nicole Smith’s autopsy were revealed, those closest to Anna let their feelings be known about Dr. Joshua Perper’s findings.

Once news of a medication overdose went public, lawyers for Howard K. Stern went on the attack defending their client against claims of wrongdoing in Anna’s death.

“Howard K. Stern doesn’t feel vindicated. He doesn’t feel relief. He doesn’t feel peace,” attorney Lilly Ann Sanchez said at an afternoon press conference. “He has lost the most important person in the world to him and nothing can change that.”

Sanchez also addressed the dosage which Dr. Perper found in Anna’s system.

“According to Dr. Perper, the toxicology reports clearly showed she did not take, nor was she forcibly given a lethal dose,” Sanchez noted. “At no time, was there any indication of wrongdoing whatsoever.”

Meanwhile, Larry Birkhead is still bothered by the events surrounding the late model’s death in early February.

In an interview with Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts, Birkhead expressed frustration over the autopsy results.

“I don’t think she took those things intending to die. Let’s look at the facts here. There was the injection and we don’t know who injected her. We have drugs in her system that by all accounts are illegal in the Bahamas. And with the fever, when she had that temperature, you don’t give anyone the choice to just drift off to sleep,” Birkhead insisted. “If someone took her to the emergency room, maybe she’d still be here today.”
