It’s a nice day for a… pink wedding for Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris!
When the Playboy founder, 84, and his 24-year-old bride walk down the aisle on June 18, they’ll buck tradition when it comes their wedding color scheme.
“The dress is not going to be white,” Crystal told People of the Romona Keveza gown she’s picked out. “I love pink! So, the dress will be pink and Hef and I want the wedding to be just a lot of different colors and to just look beautiful.”
According to Crystal, planning for the big day is going smoothly.
“It’s pretty great that we haven’t argued about anything yet,” she explained. “Things that I feel strongly about, he’s okay with, and things that he feels strongly about, I’m okay with doing things his way, so it works out. It’s cute having him look through catalogs for wedding cake toppers! So that has been a lot of fun and seeing it all come together.”
The couple will have a strawberry cake, and fuchsia and turquoise flowers, which will match the the more than 300 Papeterie custom-made invitations the couple sent out.
“Usually, weddings just have two main colors,” the blonde beauty explained. “We just want it to be colorful and pretty and the backyard is full of colors. We have the koi pond, and the fish and the birds are all different colors, so we just want to fit it all together and make it look nice and pretty.”
Hugh’s brother, Keith, will serve as the best man and Crystal’s friend Anna Berglund will be the maid of honor.
Hugh announced his engagement to the Playmate in December 2010.
