Hugh Jackman Not Thrilled With Bald Look In ‘The Fountain’

Now that Hugh Jackman’s seen
himself bald, he’s not sure it’s his best look.

His head is shaved for the portion of the movie, “The Fountain,” that’s set 500 years in the future.

Jackman says he’d always wanted to shave his head because he’s “a big waterbaby.” And, he says he’d always dreamed of swimming with his head shaved to see what it felt like.

But, Jackman says he thinks he looks ridiculous, “like something out of ‘Lord of the Rings,’ some little pixie.”

Jackman has a full head of hair for the rest of “The Fountain.”

Jackman says ‘The Fountain’ has made him think twice about what’s really important in life, and says it was strange when a kissing scene with Rachel Weisz turned into more because the director was pushing them on but they were uncomfortable because Weisz and the director are engaged.
