Jada Pinkett Smith Leaving ‘Gotham’

It appears Fish Mooney will be leaving “Gotham” for good.

Jada Pinkett Smith, who plays the former mob heavyweight on the Fox show, has revealed she won’t be returning for its second season.

“I don’t think so, no. I signed for a year and the year is up,” Jada told Kelly Ripa when asked if she’d be returning, during the actress’ appearance on “Live! With Kelly and Michael” on Friday.

Now just because Fish (who’s recently fallen out of favor with the mob and onto some very hard times) will be gone, doesn’t mean the show won’t be exciting.

Jada hinted at big things in the works for the Ben McKenzie-led series.

“There are some great things coming ahead on ‘Gotham,’ believe you me,” she told Kelly and Michael. “There’s a lot of good stuff coming.”

Jada will soon be seen on the big screen alongside Channing Tatum in “Magic Mike XXL,” coming to theaters on July 1.
